And the winner is...Robert Richardson The 2009 Canadian Worker Of The Year
Outstanding nominations came in from all across the country and our panel of judges had their work cut out for them. They finally narrowed it down to the 4 Regional Finalists who spent a nail-biting day at the Kawartha Speedway in Peterborough, waiting for the final verdict. At 6:47 pm on September 26, Bill McFarlane, Dickies VP of Logistics and Marketing announced the winner before a near sell-out crowd. Robert Richardson, a Gas Utility Operator from Calgary, Alberta was named the 2009 Canadian Worker of the Year. Nominated by his wife Sarah, Robert received the Grand Prize package, including a 2009 Dodge Ram. Congratulations to Robert and all the Finalists!
